We very much appreciate the suport from the community and all those who attended or helped in any way. However, we know that we don't have a show at all if it were not for the vehicle owners. We very much appreciate their time and money that was spent on our behalf.
In particular, we would like to thank the feature cars and bikes that came to support us.
Premier Technology had an in-progress roadster that the employees are building for a year-end safety award. They had a busy booth where you could get more info on employment opportunites. They sponsored the awards presentation.
The POW*MIA Association did an opening ceremony for the event at on Friday night. We appreciate them, their service, and their dedication to our veterans, past and present and to our community. During the show, they will be raffling off the chance to drive their car in the Demolition Derby at their 8th Annual POW*MIA Awareness Rally & Motorcycle Rodeo July 25-27.
The Eastern Idaho Sports Car Club (EISCC) did an
autocross demonstration on Saturday from 10a-12p in the parking lot. Even though the course was shorter than their typial layout, it gave spectators a good idea of what they do. By the way, the '89 Vette was pretty darn quick!
The Lion's Club sold raffle tickets to help the Portneuf Foundation
purchase a pediatric retinal scanner for kids with sight difficulties. We will soon provide an update on how they did.
The United Street Rods of Idaho, Idaho's largest automotive lobbying group was there for information on current events and benefits of membership. We appreciate them including Chrome in the Dome on their schedule of events!
